Denver Foster, also known in his nickname as Genji, is one of the main characters of Kirsten Nimwey's first and featured novel series, The Explorers. He is the chosen Wielder of King Jethro's Lightning element.

Genji is Kenji's twin brother and a Wielder of King Jethro's Lightning element. He is Cyan's close friend and partner.

He wears a black turtleneck shirt, a maroon V-neck shirt, a caramel coat, a black cargo pants, and a pair of boots. He has some accessories worn in his body such as a pair of grayish gloves, a black elbow pad in his left arm, an earring in his left ear, a belt on his left torso, and a maroon scabbard on his waist. His hair is brown and short, his eyes are blue, and he has a pair of red studs in his forehead.

Genji wields a pair of short swords and daggers in both hands, but sometimes he only wields one dagger. He has a great passion of art, and he does the traditional paintings all the time.

Etymology Edit

Denver (d(e)-nver, den-ver), as a boy's name is pronounced DEN-ver. It is of Old English and French origin, and the meaning of Denver is "green valley". Also possibly a variant of the French surname Danvers, meaning "from Anvers".
